Barcelona stunned its German visitors, Bayern Munich, with a 4-1 victory, making Bayern’s Champions League campaign even more difficult. The match took place on Wednesday evening at the Olympic Stadium of Luis Cubanes, during the third round of the group stage.

With this win, Barcelona’s points rise to 6, placing them 10th, while Bayern remains at 3 points in 23rd place, further complicating the German side’s prospects if things don’t improve. According to reports from the Spanish newspaper *El Nacional*, the German coach was thrilled with Barcelona’s emphatic win over Bayern Munich.

The paper noted that the first player Flick congratulated after the remarkable victory was the young midfielder Marc Casado. Flick applauded the player and encouraged the entire team to do the same after Casado delivered the best performance of his career.

Flick acknowledged that Barcelona’s victory was due to Casado’s exceptional effort in pressing, recovering possession, and distributing the ball forward.

The newspaper also mentioned that Flick approached Barcelona’s midfielder Pedri to commend his outstanding display against Bayern, describing the match as a standard for all midfielders globally. Additionally, Flick congratulated the standout player of the night, Brazilian winger Raphinha, saying, “You played a match that will be remembered by many for years to come.”

Flick declared that Barcelona currently has the best player in the world, referring to Raphinha, stating, “We have the best player in the world, and there is no one like him.” This remark fueled the rivalry ahead of El Clasico, as Ancelotti had declared the previous day that Vinicius was the best player in the world. Flick responded, affirming that the Barça star is undoubtedly the top player.

In a surprising move, Laporta went straight to the locker room after the historic match, approaching the undisputed star, Raphinha, hugging him, and saying, “You mesmerized the entire world tonight; what a phenomenal player you are.”

Laporta then turned to Marc Casado, one of Barcelona’s key performers, and said, “Without you tonight, things would have been very different. You are Barcelona’s invaluable gem.”

The newspaper concluded that despite the historic win, Flick spoke with Barcelona’s French defender Koundé, advising him to remain highly focused in the upcoming Clasico to neutralize Real Madrid’s most dangerous player, Vinicius Junior. He warned Koundé against pushing too far forward and leaving open spaces behind him.
