Barca: The club makes a painful decision for Ansu Fati!

The ordeal continues for Ansu Fati, who may well bid farewell to Catalonia sooner than expected. Once perceived as the’heir of Lionel Messi, the young talent S’ has moved away from this image over time
After his loan at Brighton last season, Ansu Fati’s return to Barcelona hasn’t gone as planned. Though Hansi Flick hoped to incorporate him into the squad rotation, Fati has had very limited playing time, making him the forward with the fewest minutes on the pitch. Now, at just 21, his future at Barcelona seems increasingly uncertain.

Barcelona: A Tough Decision for Ansu Fati
A possible January departure?
With only 132 minutes of game time since the season began—often at the tail end of already-decided matches—Fati doesn’t appear to be a top priority for Flick.
According to *Sport*, Fati’s agent, Jorge Mendes, met with Barcelona’s president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco on Thursday to discuss his future. Barcelona is open to facilitating his transfer in January, should Fati decide he wants more playing time elsewhere. Given his talent, Fati is likely to attract interest from other clubs eager to help him reignite his career.
