According to The Athletic, Marcus Rashford was allegedly spotted at a nightclub in Belfast on January 25, the same evening he was expected to attend a Manchester United training session the following day.

Marcus Rashford, the England international, was sighted at Thompsons Garage nightclub in Belfast on Thursday night. However, he returned to Manchester early Friday morning via a private flight for training.

Although spotted at the nightclub, Rashford reported feeling unwell for training ahead of Manchester United’s FA Cup fourth-round match against Newport County on Sunday. This was confirmed by manager Erik ten Hag during his pre-match press conference.

Despite circulating footage on social media, Manchester United maintains that the images were from Wednesday night, aligning with the first-team squad’s scheduled day off.

As reported by The Athletic, Rashford was captured at Lavery’s Bar in Belfast on Wednesday and continued his celebratory outings in the Northern Irish capital. Additionally, he was seen at Thompsons nightclub on Thursday.

Following their 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on January 14, the Dutch coach allowed his players a week off from training, followed by a two-week break before their FA Cup encounter against League Two side Newport County.

This drama sums up Manchester United

Marcus Rashford’s recent nightclub outing before a crucial game highlights ongoing issues at Manchester United, indicating a deeper problem. It’s concerning to see a key player behaving this way, setting a poor example for the team. A culture change is needed for future success.
