Liverpool fans showed their appreciation for manager Jurgen Klopp early in their FA Cup match against Norwich City, serenading him just 57 seconds into the game. Klopp, who is departing Anfield at the end of the season, received a warm reception from the crowd, with supporters singing the popular chant “Jurgen is a Red” to the tune of The Beatles’ “I Feel Fine.”

Klopp’s impending departure after nine years at the helm leaves Liverpool with the task of finding his successor. Names like Xavi Alonso, Jose Mourinho, and Roberto De Zerbi have surfaced as potential candidates, with the club preparing for a new era.

Despite the managerial transition, Liverpool remains focused on their quest for a quadruple this season. Their recent advancement to the final of the 2023 Carabao Cup and progression to the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League demonstrate their commitment to success amidst the changing landscape.

Klopp expressed caution when discussing the possibility of a quadruple, emphasizing the need to focus on one competition at a time. Despite Liverpool’s success in qualifying for one final, Klopp stressed the importance of remaining grounded and not getting ahead of themselves. He acknowledged the challenges of pursuing multiple titles simultaneously, emphasizing the unpredictable nature of such a feat.

“The competitions are not made so that someone wins all of them. It’s just the number of games. I saw that the final is on February 25 and if we win on Sunday then the next round of the FA Cup will be three days later.

“It’s very unlikely we reach all three finals, it’s just the nature of it.
