LIVERPOOL
🔥🏟️Unfortunate news for Arne Slot as Liverpool will be missing at least four players, with several others not fully fit — and Slot is well aware of the reasons behind this.

Liverpool have received a major boost ahead of their Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night.
The Reds head into the game leading the Premier League, having capitalized on their rivals’ slip-ups over the weekend.
More positive news came for Arne Slot as he prepares for the Anfield clash against Xabi Alonso’s team.
Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over Brighton was dampened by a wrist injury to Ibrahima Konate, which forced him off at half-time, showing signs of discomfort as he left the pitch.
However, Konate later confirmed on social media that scans revealed no fracture and that he would be available for upcoming matches.
Konate’s injury update was further confirmed by Liverpool Echo journalist Theo Squires, who posted on Monday that the 25-year-old participated in open training with the team ahead of Tuesday’s game.
Academy players James Norris and Tom Hill also trained with the first team as part of their preparations for Leverkusen.
Having Konate back could be crucial for Liverpool. While Joe Gomez’s strong performance off the bench on Saturday reassured fans of reliable backup, seeing Konate back in training is a welcome boost ahead of Tuesday’s game.
Facing an in-form striker like Victor Boniface, who has scored eight goals in 13 games this season, Slot will be relieved to have his preferred back four ready for the match.
Konate’s standout performance against Arsenal last week proved his ability to handle top competition, and Liverpool will hope he can replicate that form against Leverkusen.
With some Liverpool players not expected back until after the international break, Konate’s availability is a timely boost for the Premier League leaders.
