HIGHEST PAID PLAYERS IN THE WORLD REVEALED AS MESSI, RONALDO AND MBAPPE RANKED

Cristiano Ronaldo has emerged as the highest-paid player in global football, according to the latest rankings.
Since his transfer to Al Nassr in January last year, Cristiano Ronaldo, formerly of Manchester United, has maintained his dominance, reportedly earning around £3.8 million per week. Despite nearing 40, he remains at the top of his game.
Recent data reveals that four out of the top ten highest-paid footballers now ply their trade in Saudi Arabia, with two of them ranking in the top three.
Lionel Messi holds onto the second spot after joining MLS side Inter Miami in 2023, departing from his stint at PSG in France.
Neymar, previously alongside Messi at PSG, now occupies the third position after his move to the Saudi Pro League earlier in the year.
Currently representing Al Hilal, Neymar, the Brazilian footballer, commands an astonishing weekly wage of £2.5 million. Despite this hefty paycheck, he is yet to score in the Saudi top-flight.

Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema, both French footballers, occupy the top five highest earners list. Mbappe, who currently plays in Ligue 1, has been frequently linked with a move to Real Madrid, with rumors indicating a potential transfer to Carlo Ancelotti’s team in the upcoming summer. Meanwhile, Benzema has faced challenges during his stint with Al-Ittihad in the Middle East and has been linked with a return to Lyon recently.
