Real Madrid set to hand Kylian Mbappe a monstrous signing on bonus
Stunning reports suggest that Real Madrid is preparing to offer Kylian Mbappe an enormous signing bonus. The superstar forward, whose Paris Saint-Germain contract is nearing its end, has been at the center of intense transfer speculation. Rumors indicate that Mbappe has opted to join the Spanish giants once his PSG deal expires this summer, a move hinted at by Vinicius Junior. An announcement regarding his decision to join the 14-time European champions is anticipated next week.
The 25-year-old has not yet informed PSG or Real, but his decision has been made, per sources
Despite their eagerness to secure Kylian Mbappe’s services, Real Madrid is standing firm on their wage structure. The La Liga side is unwilling to exceed Mbappe’s current £21 million net salary, signaling their commitment to financial prudence in the pursuit of the superstar forward.
Real Madrid’s current top earners, Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham, receive a £10 million net salary each, with their contracts including gradual increases in the upcoming seasons. However, to accommodate Kylian Mbappe’s potential arrival without surpassing their wage structure, reports suggest a staggering £85 million signing-on bonus could be offered to the World Cup winner. Additionally, negotiations may involve adjustments to image rights, which can yield millions annually, presenting a potential compromise in the deal.
Real could allow Mbappe a 60-40 split in his favour to further sweeten his deal, having historically taken 50 per cent of their top signings’ image rights.
