🚩🚩Erik ten Hag tipped to take shock job as ex-Man Utd manager spotted in stands at game this weekend

Erik ten Hag has been tipped to take a surprise new job after being sacked as Manchester United manager.
Ten Hag left his post as United manager in October after a poor start to the 2023/24 season.
The Red Devils subsequently placed Ruud van Nistelrooy in interim charge before confirming the appointment of Ruben Amorim from Sporting Lisbon the following month.
Ten Hag released a statement on social media in which he thanked United supporters for their support during his over two-year spell in Manchester, but has otherwise made no public comment since his departure.

However, the Dutchman was spotted at another club’s stadium over the weekend amid speculation that he could be ready to make a return to management.
Ten Hag was at Signal Iduna Park to watch Borussia Dortmund’s 3-2 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
And Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Ten Hag is the ‘shadow coach’ for Dortmund chiefs to replace current head coach Nuri Sahin if the club decides to part company with the former Turkey international midfielder.
Plettenberg claims that Sahin still has the confidence of Dortmund bosses, with the German club having won four of their six Champions League group games to sit in ninth place in the table.
That is only one place lower than their position in the Bundesliga, however, with last season’s Champions League finalists five points off Champions League qualification.

And in their clash at Holstein Kiel on Tuesday evening, Dortmund went 3-0 down at half-time to put further pressure on Sahin, though pulled it back to 3-2 heading into the final 10 minutes of the game.
Sky Germany report that, while the idea of Ten Hag taking over has been cast aside – at least for now – the Dutchman has a close relationship with Dortmund advisor Matthias Sammer that dates back to the pair’s time at Bayern Munich.
It is also said that he has been shown around the ‘business area’ of the club and recently had an exchange with technical director Sven Mislintat, formerly of Arsenal
