☑️🚩Liverpool had bizarre hotel demands ‘leaked’ including specific request for several senior players

Liverpool had a bizarre set of hotel demands leaked including specific requests for several senior players.
Ahead of the 2016/17 season, Liverpool travelled to Huddersfield for a pre-season fixture, which they won 2-0 as goals in each half from Marko Grujic and an Alberto Moreno penalty secured the win.
Before the friendly match at The John Smith’s Stadium, a document revealing Liverpool’s hotel demands was leaked via The Daily Star.
The leaked document, titled ‘LIVERPOOL FC – Domestic Hotel Requirements Seasons 2016-2017’, detailed specific requests for several senior players as well as management.
It’s claimed Liverpool demanded each hotel put Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana up in bedrooms next to each other.
And star player Philippe Coutinho must be provided with a fan in his room.
Then-Reds boss Jurgen Klopp must be allocated a smoking room, per the document. His assistant Peter Krawietz must also be handed a smoking room.
And their rooms must be away from the players, but the backroom staff must be together.
Liverpool demanded players all to be on the same floor and in the same area as each other.
Double beds, Wifi and, naturally, a room key was allocated to all players.
Each room had Pay TV, but phone calls in and out on the hotel line were blocked.

The leaked document also claimed players were supplied with two, one-litre bottles of water, but there must be no alcohol or snacks in any player’s room.
Liverpool also demanded porters to assist with bags and asked for luggage trollies when players arrived.
Players were also told to only wear New Balance clothing and accessories – except for footwear. New Balance was Liverpool’s official kit supplier at the time.
All players were also told to remember their passports as the club were departing to the USA for a pre-season tour.
Liverpool, now under the management of Arne Slot, likely have a new set of hotel demands for when they travel the country and beyond for games.
