Arsenalâs pursuit of the Premier League title continued as they earned a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners had looked in control with a 2-0 lead, thanks to goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz.

In a dramatic late moment, Arsenal thought they had won the game when a shot from Mikel Merino deflected off Havertz and into the net. However, after reviewing the play, VAR ruled out the goal due to a handball by Havertz. Frustration grew when Merino hit the post in the final moments, and Leandro Trossardâs rebound was saved by Villaâs goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
Despite a strong push from Arsenal during seven minutes of added time, Villa held on for a valuable point. The result leaves Arsenal six points behind Liverpool in the race for the title, with one more game played than their rivals.
