🔥🏟️*Hansi Flick: Full Interview After Draw Against Getafe

Flick: “We had opportunities to score, especially in the first half, and we’re disappointed with the result. I’m not satisfied, but I have to accept it.”
Flick: “The atmosphere at the stadium was full of emotion today. It’s something new for me. I’m not pleased with how things went today.”
Flick: “Getafe defends very well, and we struggled to be effective in attack today.”
Flick: “Their defense was solid, particularly in and around their penalty area.”
Flick: “Frenkie de Jong replaced Casadó at halftime because there were no physical issues with Casadó. We just wanted to make a tactical change.”
Flick: “We had chances in the second half. Normally, we would have taken them, scored a goal, and secured all three points.”
Flick: “It’s about improving the quality and speed of our passing. We have the talent, but we need to work on this.”
Flick: “Scoring in the first half would have been very helpful, but we couldn’t capitalize on that opportunity today.”
Flick: “The racist abuse aimed at Balde is disgraceful. There is absolutely no place for that in football.”
Flick: “In the first half, we lost the usual energy we bring to every game. We didn’t make the right decisions.”
Flick: “I’m not concerned about our points tally. I know we’ve dropped a lot of points, but we also had a strong start to the year, and I’m happy to see that.”
Flick: “I’m not worried about Getafe’s approach to the match, but it was a new experience for me.”
Flick: “Winning just 6 of the last 24 points in La Liga? I’m not concerned with that stat. We are working well. Do we need to improve? Yes, but I’m still satisfied.”
Regarding Getafe’s Bench:
Flick: “These things happen during a match. I won’t comment on it further.”
Flick: “Winning a league title is always tough, and we still have many games ahead. We got a point today, and now we need to look ahead.”
Flick: “We need to win in Lisbon to secure our qualification for the next round. That’s our goal. Thank you.”
