🔥☑️“I don’t think he can do anything here. Maybe he will join Erik ten Hag in his new club but he is not my type of player. He will be the player to leave under my management and we won’t feel any regret”-Man Utd player ‘reaches agreement’ to leave club becoming first departure of Ruben Amorim era as the fans are very sad he is leaving. “Why did Erik ten Hag signed him in the first place? He is a waste of money”

A Manchester United player has reportedly “reached an agreement” to leave the club on loan.
United currently sit 12th in the Premier League after a 3-1 victory over Southampton at Old Trafford on Thursday, highlighted by a 12-minute hat-trick from 22-year-old Amad.
With Ruben Amorim now three months into his tenure, he is beginning to shape his ideal squad, formation, and starting XI. However, it seems he will be without a key defender for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
According to Voetbal International, Tyrell Malacia has agreed to a loan move away from the club until the end of the season, having made just two Premier League appearances so far this term. The report states that while Malacia’s destination remains unclear, journalist Joost Blaauwhof claims “sources close to the player” have confirmed his departure in the January transfer window.
Malacia, 25, joined United from Feyenoord for £13 million in the summer of 2022. He played a pivotal role during the 2022/23 campaign under Erik ten Hag, making 39 appearances. However, injuries have plagued his tenure, including a serious knee injury that sidelined him for 17 months. He made his comeback during an Under-21 EFL Trophy match against Huddersfield in November.
Malacia returned to the senior squad later that month, starting as a left-wing back in the 3-2 Europa League win over Bodo/Glimt. Amorim praised his performance, saying, “It was huge for him, the confidence of everybody. I think he did really well. It was more than a year without playing, and the way he behaved, so brave with the ball, I’m really happy with him.”
It is uncertain whether United will seek a replacement for Malacia. However, Caught Offside reports that Amorim is interested in Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri. The 23-year-old, valued at around £30 million by Transfermarkt, is under contract with Wolves until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Amorim addressed the possibility of new signings in December, acknowledging the challenges involved. “We don’t have that possibility [to make signings] in January if we don’t take some players [out],” he said [via BBC Sport]. “You know the situation better than me. It is not that I am arriving here and know I can spend money changing the team.”
