Manchester City star offers his services to Real Madrid in January, but Perez surprisingly rejects the deal

Real Madrid has declined to sign one of Manchester City’s first-team stars during the current winter transfer window.
With a pressing need to strengthen their squad, especially in defense due to the numerous injuries they’ve faced since the start of the season, Real Madrid has been active in exploring potential signings.
According to information from the Spanish newspaper “Marca”, Kyle Walker was offered to Real Madrid in recent weeks, but the club categorically rejected the offer, sticking to one clear statement: “Alexander-Arnold or no one.”
The newspaper explained that although the name of the English full-back had been mentioned in several discussions, the negotiations were not serious.
Real Madrid is aware of the need to reinforce the right-back position, given the pressure on Lucas Vázquez and the occasional reliance on Fede Valverde. However, the club’s leadership has decided to hold off on any moves in the market unless there is a change from Liverpool.
“Marca” further reported that while the club receives many offers, it consistently follows its own strategy and does not deviate from its plans, even when faced with injuries. In this context, Trent Alexander-Arnold remains the only player Real Madrid has seriously considered to strengthen the right-back position.
