1. Joshua Zirkzee: In May 2024, Arsenal were reportedly nearing a deal to sign Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. The 22-year-old Dutch striker had an impressive season in Serie A, contributing 12 goals and four assists. Arsenal’s sporting director, Edu Gaspar, was said to have offered Zirkzee a five-year contract with a weekly salary of £99,000. The transfer fee was estimated at €60 million (£51 million).

 

 

2. Viktor Gyökeres: In August 2024, reports emerged that Arsenal had initiated contract talks with Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres, who was then playing for Sporting Lisbon. Gyökeres had an outstanding season in Portugal, scoring 43 goals in 50 games. Sporting Lisbon valued him at £86 million, though this was later reduced to £68 million.

 

 

3. Eddie Nketiah: In August 2024, Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah reportedly agreed personal terms with Nottingham Forest ahead of a potential £30 million move. Nketiah, who had been with Arsenal since 2017, scored 38 goals in 168 appearances for the club.
