BARCELONAPau Cubarsí: “We Are Angry About the Last Ten Minutes

Barcelona’s young defender Pau Cubarsí did not hold back after his team squandered a 4-2 lead in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid. The match ended in a 4-4 draw, leaving Barça frustrated as they allowed two late goals to slip what could have been a crucial advantage.
Cubarsí admitted the team felt a sense of frustration after such an intense and dramatic encounter at the Montjuïc Stadium.
“We are angry because it is a draw. We will give everything in the return leg and give the Catalans something to cheer about,” Cubarsí said in his post-match interview.
Barcelona initially struggled in the opening moments but later produced 70 minutes of spectacular football, only to collapse defensively in the closing stages.
“The first five minutes were not good at all, then we played 70 spectacular minutes, but that has already happened to us in the league.”
Second Leg Awaits in April
The return leg in Madrid is scheduled for April, giving both teams plenty of time to prepare. However, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid will meet before then in a crucial La Liga clash, which could have a significant impact on the league standings.
