Liverpool suffer huge injury blow as key player ruled out of Carabao Cup final vs Chelsea

Prior to their Carabao Cup final matchup with Chelsea this month, Liverpool has suffered a severe injury blow.
On February 25, Liverpool takes on Chelsea at Wembley Stadium in a match that will decide who wins the season’s first trophy.
Additionally, one of Jurgen Klopp’s main players won’t be available for the match against the Blues.
The 25-year-old’s return date is unknown, although it is anticipated that he will be sidelined for a few weeks.
In the Premier League on Saturday, Alexander-Arnold was forced off with an injury during his team’s 3-1 victory over Burnley.
At the half, Klopp decided to replace him and subbed him.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will not play in the match, according to Paul Joyce, since he aggravated a pre-existing knee issue.
When Liverpool defeated Arsenal in the FA Cup last month, the right-back sustained a lateral tear.
After making a comeback against Norwich in the FA Cup, he started his second game since the first injury against Burnley.
In the 58th minute of Liverpool’s Premier League loss against Arsenal, Alexander-Arnold was substituted out as a precaution.

The German stated following Liverpool’s triumph over Burnley: “He felt there [his knee].” He became entangled in the grass. We’ll see; more evaluation is required.”
The same location of the knee, he continued. Nothing too serious, but he sensed it once more, and we need to observe and evaluate it. Trent claimed everything was alright, but we had to take extra precautions and remove him because he was experiencing discomfort.
Conor Bradley, who has been on compassionate leave since his father passed away, or Joe Gomez may fill in when Liverpool plays Chelsea at the end of the month.
This season, Alexander-Arnold has made 29 appearances across all competitions and netted two goals.
He recorded the most Premier League assists (58) for a defender when he set up Diogo Jota against Burnley.
