Manchester United are intensifying their pursuit of Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo with a proposed £60 million bid, though they will face fierce competition from arch-rivals Liverpool.
United’s recruitment team have reportedly been convinced by the 25-year-old’s pace, sharp finishing, and versatility. Semenyo is currently one of the most effective wingers in the Premier League, contributing to nine goals in just ten appearances.

Thanks to his outstanding form, United are considering a £60 million offer to bring Semenyo to Old Trafford next summer. A January move is not ruled out if the Ghanaian continues his impressive performances.
However, the deal will be far from easy. Bournemouth are determined to keep their brightest talent and will only consider a transfer if they receive an exceptionally high offer.
At the same time, Liverpool are also targeting Semenyo as a potential long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah. The rivalry between the two Premier League giants could drive the player’s market value even higher.
In addition to pursuing Semenyo, United have identified Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson as another major target for 2026, with an estimated value of around £70 million.
Reinforcing both the midfield and the wing positions is seen as a top priority in United’s rebuilding strategy for the coming year.
