After Chelsea’s £73 million bid was turned down, Liverpool and Newcastle United will be more motivated to sign Sporting Lisbon attacker Viktor Gyokeres.

Gyokeres is an incredible player.

Unlike other no. 9s, he can create, hold the ball up, and generally be a very excellent linker in the playmaking process.

It makes sense that the biggest teams want to sign him because he would currently help most teams.

Darwin Nunez isn’t a top attacker just yet, but Liverpool doesn’t really need a new striker. The necessity for a player with the Swede’s skill level is higher at Chelsea and Newcastle.
