Fans are shocked after compilation of Ronaldinho’s son playing for Barcelona goes viral

After a video of Ronaldinho’s son playing for Barcelona went viral, football fans were taken aback. Most people agree that Ronaldinho is among the best players to have ever lived. The Brazilian was one of the first real football stars, performing admirably both at a number of elite teams and on the international scene.
Despite winning two La Liga titles with Barcelona, one World Cup with Brazil, and one Scudetto with AC Milan, the flamboyant playmaker’s legacy isn’t rooted in awards or statistics.
Because of the way Ronaldinho played the game—making the seemingly difficult seem easy while grinning and playing with no concern in the world—people adored him. His goals were amazing, his demeanour contagious, and his dribbling and skills mesmerising.
To put it succinctly, Ronaldinho brought back the excitement of football. Given this, it would be reasonable to assume that a Ronaldinho child will follow in his footsteps and develop into a flashy trickster.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Joao Mendes de Assis Moreira signed a contract with Barcelona in 2023 following a fruitful trial.
Although he has recently struggled to get playing time for Barca’s under-19 squad in his preferred attacking spot, the 19-year-old is undoubtedly talented.

Instead, Joao Mendes has been used as a left-back, as one much shared TikTok has shown.
Although many acknowledged that he looks fairly fine, fans were simply shocked that Ronaldinho’s kid had become a defender.
“Imagine that you are the son of Ronaldinho and you also get blessed being left footed and at the end of the day you end playing as a left back that’s crazy,” a viewer said about the video
“I respect the kid a lot though,” remarked someone else. He’s the son of Ronaldinho, and he seems to be making a lot of effort, so he’s not upset about being switched to left back.”
Some noticed the humorous aspect. A person remarked, “It’s not too late to go to university,” while another stated, “Nah they turned bro into a left-back.”
It’s believed that Joao Mendes’ contract will expire at the end of the current campaign.
