Amidst Real Madrid connections, Kylian Mbappe might have to fire both his mother and agent, Fayza Lamari.
Despite a high-profile fallout between the club and player over the summer, Kylian Mbappe is still expected to sign a deal to join Real Madrid next summer.
Should such a move come to pass, Mbappe’s mother Lamari, who is one of the player’s representatives, is expected to be central to any negotiations over her son’s future.
A new report suggests that Mbappe may be forced to fire his own mother and agent Fayza Lamari.
But according to Marca, Mbappe might have to break up with his mother in order to represent FIFA under new regulations.
FIFA forbids double representation, caps the commission agents receive from transfer fees and salaries, and wants agents to hold licences.
Lamari is not included among the thousands of registered agents in the new FIFA Agent Directory, as is evident on the FIFA Agent Platform.
