Fans think they’ve worked out the meaning of Ronald Araujo’s gesture after red card vs PSG

Supporters believe they’ve deciphered the significance of Ronald Araujo’s hand gesture following the Barcelona defender’s dismissal against PSG.

The Uruguayan player received a direct red card for a foul on Bradley Barcola, with the referee judging it to be a denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity. Romano captioned the tweet: “Ronald Araujo, not happy with his red card,” yet he did not elaborate on the gesture’s significance.

While the gesture puzzled some fans, others took to the comments section to decipher its meaning.

It was a disastrous evening for Xavi’s team, who had aspirations of claiming their first Champions League title since 2015 amidst their domestic struggles this season.

President Joan Laporta has expressed the possibility of the Barca legend staying at the club, with reports suggesting efforts are being made to persuade him to reach an agreement.
