Salah’s future has been the subject of numerous rumours, but The Athletic’s David Ornstein claims that the former Chelsea player is not available.

With the arrival of Arne Slot as their new manager, Liverpool expect their talisman to remain in place for at least another season. Hence, compared to previous transfer windows, there is less aggressive interest from Saudi Pro League clubs.

Al Ittihad tried desperately to sign the 31-year-old, but in the end, their attempts were not successful. Salah has a contract with Liverpool until 2025, after which he will be free to sign with another team or become available on a free agent.
