Former Liverpool midfielder could replace Arne Slot at Feyenoord — he played for Klopp

Now, Nuri Sahin might not be a name that resonates with every football fan, but he has an interesting history with both Liverpool and Feyenoord. Back in the day, the 35-year-old midfielder had a brief spell at Liverpool, albeit on loan from Real Madrid, where he made a modest 12 appearances. However, his connection with Feyenoord goes back further, as he featured for the Dutch club during the 2007/08 season.
Since hanging up his boots in 2021, Sahin has transitioned into coaching, starting his managerial journey at Turkish side Antalyaspor before moving on to become an assistant manager at Borussia Dortmund.
