LIVERPOOL
According to Fabrizio Romano, Mohamed Kudus has decided to join Liverpool FC this summer.
Liverpool are reportedly keen on acquiring Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Per Football Transfers, Liverpool might gain leverage in their pursuit of the Ghanaian forward, as West Ham appears willing to lower their initial asking price.
Initially set at £85 million, West Ham may be open to selling Kudus for less due to complications involving Lucas Paqueta.
The Brazilian was expected to fetch a significant fee this summer but now faces a potential lengthy ban for illegal betting involvement.
Consequently, West Ham may be more amenable to negotiating Kudus’ price. The 23-year-old forward could be an excellent long-term acquisition for Liverpool, given his versatility across the front three and his ability to deliver goals and assists.
Kudus has netted 14 goals and provided six assists across all competitions this season, demonstrating his potential to become a key player for Liverpool.
Kudus could potentially replace Mohamed Salah, whose contract is set to expire next season.
Liverpool will need to bolster their squad to compete with top-tier clubs like Arsenal and Manchester City, and securing a promising young talent like Kudus could be a strategic move.
He possesses the quality to excel at the highest level and could significantly impact Liverpool if the transfer is successful.
Joining Liverpool would offer Kudus the opportunity to compete for major trophies, a prospect he is likely to find enticing.
