LIVERPOOL
The Darwin Nunez future at Liverpool has been decided
Darwin Nunez had a decent season at Liverpool this year, but not one that will win over every supporter. The red fans do not want him to stay with the team because of numerous misses and missed opportunities in the season’s pivotal games.
Although videos of the Uruguayan striker during Jurgen Klopp’s farewell party led many to believe he was done with the team, the most trustworthy sources have stated that Darwin Nunez would not be sold by the team.
Nunez will get another chance to prove his ability with the departure of Jurgen Klopp and the appointment of new Dutch manager Arne Slot. Nunez let the Liverpool supporters down this season, therefore he will do everything in his power to make them all proud.
Even though there have been a lot of reports and chatter that Nunez won’t be playing for Liverpool next season, James Pearce has stated that there isn’t any desire for him to quit the team in the summer.
The complete statement that James Pearce gave in an interview with @AnfieldWrap regarding Darwin Nunez’s potential departure from Liverpool this season can be found below:
