After the latest updates and news about an imminent Real Madrid deal emerged, Florentino Pérez is trying to stay composed, despite the situation becoming complicated.

As reported by the Spanish network Defensa Central, Real Madrid was confident about finalizing the signing of Lenny Euro in the coming days, with negotiations with Lille moving in the right direction. Only a few minor details remained to seal the deal.

However, everything changed with the latest information from Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist announced that Lille had reached an agreement with Manchester United.

The network reported that Manchester United’s offer of more than 50 million euros will be paid to Lille to accept the Red Devils’ proposal. Despite this, it must be noted that the centre-back’s preference is still to sign with Real Madrid.

This keeps the situation favorable for Real Madrid, who remain confident they will ultimately secure the signing despite recent developments.

According to the network, nothing has changed at Real Madrid, even after officials learned that Lille had accepted Manchester United’s offer, which was double what the Spanish club had offered.

In fact, the club has confirmed that “we will do the deal, but on our terms.” They are unwilling to engage in a bidding war that they believe is only intended to inflate the player’s transfer fee.
