Liverpool Jurgen Klopp breaks silence on his future and rules out taking one particular job after Liverpool exit Published 34 mins ago on July 31, 2024 By adminnow
Jurgen Klopp left Liverpool at the end of the 23/24 season.
Jurgen Klopp has spoken about his future for the first time amid rumours of a quick return to management.
After nearly nine years in charge of Liverpool, Klopp decided to step down as Reds manager at the end of the 23/24 campaign.
During his time in charge at Anfield, the German led Liverpool to a host of trophies including the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Community Shield and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Since leaving Liverpool, Klopp has been linked with the likes of England and the United States.
The English Football Association is currently searching for a new manager after Gareth Southgate decided to leave his role on the back of the Euro 2024 final defeat against Spain.
However, as reported by Sky Sports, Klopp has ruled out a quick return to management.
Sky Sports presenter Hayley McQueen said: “We know that Jurgen Klopp is currently enjoying an extended break from football having left Liverpool. If you’re wondering what he’s up to, he’s ruled out a quick return to coaching and says he is definitely not going to be England’s next manager.
“He’s been speaking at the International Coaches Congress, he said job wise nothing at all, no club and no country. People must not have heard that part.”
