Bayern Munich offers Real Madrid a giant exchange deal for Davies to move to the Bernabéu
The German club is aware of Real Madrid’s strong interest in signing Canadian full-back Alphonso Davies, and they want to leverage this to secure a player they wish to add to their team. Real Madrid is making every effort to finalize the contract with Davies, a player who has greatly impressed the Real Madrid president.
According to information from the Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, Bayern Munich would be willing to reach an agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of Davies if Rudiger is included in the deal. The newspaper noted that Real Madrid is not considering this offer because the German centre-back is one of the best players in the world and due to the current state of their defense.
Real Madrid is eager to sign Davies this summer but has not had direct contact with Bayern Munich. It is rumored that the German club will not lower the deal’s costs. The newspaper added that if the situation remains unclear, Real Madrid and Davies will consider the second option: his arrival as a free agent in 2025. The Canadian would have to endure another season of pressure and possibly be a substitute in some matches.
Bayern Munich aims to use this to convince him to renew his contract and stay at the club for several more years. They tried last season, but Davies resisted renewing. This led to him being benched, but he remained unfazed. It is evident that his current goal is to become a Real Madrid player, and he has an agreement with Madrid to sign in 2024 or 2025, depending on the circumstances.
