Liverpool’s summer transfer window has been unusually quiet as the 2024/25 season approaches, making them the only Premier League club yet to secure a new signing. Contract renewals for key players like Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Virgil van Dijk have hit a standstill, and the collapse of Martin Zubimendi’s transfer has added to the growing frustration among Liverpool fans.

Now, a new report hints at an even bigger blow for the club. According to journalist Marcos Benito, Colombian winger Luis Diaz may be on the verge of leaving Liverpool for one of their biggest Premier League rivals, Manchester City. Benito claims that Diaz has reached an agreement with City to join on a five-year deal, with the Manchester club prepared to offer 70 million euros to secure the 27-year-old attacker’s services.

This potential move could further unsettle Liverpool’s squad and leave fans concerned about the club’s prospects for the upcoming season.
