BOMBSHELL: Youssouf Fofana’s Manchester United Move IMMINENT!

Youssouf Fofana, who has been at the center of ongoing transfer rumors connecting him to Manchester United, was conspicuously absent during AS Monaco’s 3-0 win over Barcelona on Monday night.
The match, which concluded Monaco’s pre-season schedule, took place at the Barcelona Olympic Stadium, where they secured the Joan Gamper Trophy—a trophy awarded annually at the end of Barcelona’s pre-season.
Monaco’s goals were scored by Lamine Camara, Breel Embolo, and Christian Mawissa. However, Fofana’s absence caught the most attention, as he has been linked with possible transfers to both United and AC Milan.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fofana was left out of the squad due to ongoing uncertainty surrounding his future. It is said that Fofana informed Monaco before the match of his desire to leave the club and explore new opportunities.
The report also mentioned that Fofana, who played for France at the European Championship earlier this summer, had been in training for 11 days leading up to the game and was not left out due to injury.
Earlier this summer, Fofana suggested that he had an agreement with Monaco that he could depart if a suitable offer came in.
“It’s not a secret; I’ve discussed it with the club’s leadership,” Fofana said in June. “We had conversations, and they agreed to support me in this next stage. If a move doesn’t materialize, I still have a year left on my contract, and I’m happy to stay. We agreed that we would work together in a way that benefits both the club and me.”
As the transfer window approaches its end, United remains intent on strengthening their midfield, with several players, including Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte, Burnley’s Sander Berge, and former loanee Sofyan Amrabat, still being linked to the club.
