Slot’s slick, attacking style of play has caught attention, but the Dutchman reportedly remains unconvinced by two of his current midfielders, Wataru Endo and Curtis Jones.
According to TEAMtalk, Slot is keen on bolstering his midfield before the transfer window closes on August 30, with Feyenoord’s Quinten Timber emerging as a key target. Timber, who played 44 games under Slot last season, impressed with eight goals and ten assists and has been identified as a potential signing to fit Slot’s system at Liverpool. Timber’s pace and versatility in the No.6 role make him an attractive option, as he could offer both attacking contributions and defensive solidity in Liverpool’s transitional style of play.
