Barcelona had initially taken the lead in the match, but Monaco mounted a comeback, and with Ter Stegenās error and Raphinhaās missed chances, the Spanish side ended up on the losing side.
Despite the defeat, Flick remained optimistic, stressing that there is still time to bounce back: *āUltimately, itās only the beginning of the Champions League, and we have plenty of matches left to make up for it.ā*
While the loss was disappointing, BarƧa has several more opportunities in the group stage, and both the manager and players will likely seek to learn from their mistakes moving forward.
