If they sack me today, they are right…I shouldn’t have benched them, I’m sorry”: Erik ten Hag swallows his pride and apologize to Man United’s fans for benching TWO Player’s who have are the best so far in this season

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag defended his decision to keep Marcus Rashford on the bench during the team’s 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace, calling the reaction from pundits “crazy.”
Although Rashford had netted three goals in his previous two games, he was replaced in the starting lineup by Alejandro Garnacho, Joshua Zirkzee, and Amad Diallo.
However, United struggled to turn their possession into goals, with missed chances at Selhurst Park allowing the hosts to claim a point despite their below-par performance.
Sky Sports’ Jamie Redknapp was one of the many who questioned Ten Hag’s decision to bench Rashford, suggesting there were deeper issues behind the scenes.
“It feels like something has gone wrong,” Redknapp said. “I don’t know the details. But you don’t drop a player who scored twice in midweek and against Southampton.
“I wouldn’t say he’s fully back, but we’re seeing glimpses of the Rashford from two years ago.” I’m unsure what happened this week, but there seems to be some frustration from the manager. It’s uncommon for a manager to criticize players’ lifestyles.
“Sir Alex Ferguson would never have done that, but Ten Hag has on a few occasions. It doesn’t always work well for the players.”
Ten Hag quickly responded to Redknapp and those who shared his views, saying, “The speculation from these pundits is insane.”
