“I need only one assurance before i join Chelsea”- Karim Benzema makes critical January transfer to Chelsea as the French Balon D’Or winner admits he is only interested in playing at the Premier League on ‘ONE CONDITION

Until a decision on Karim Benzema’s future at Al-Ittihad is made, he will be the main topic of news. The 36-year-old, who scored frequently for his new team since joining the Saudi Arabian team in early June, is reportedly dissatisfied in Saudi Arabia.
Because of this, teams have shown interest in acquiring him during the January transfer window; the Frenchman has been linked to moves to Arsenal and Chelsea. Both teams are desperate for additional offensive firepower, and Benzema would certainly deliver it if he can settle into English culture and consistently perform at the level he did at Real Madrid.
But, considering his present enormous contract at Al-Ittihad, a move for the former Lyon star would be unaffordable. So, in the last stages of the season, may Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino gain from a short-term relocation?
With the goal of helping Chelsea fans move past their disappointing season and look forward to May, we asked our football writers at football.london to share their opinions on whether Todd Boehly should approve a deal for Benzema.
Chelsea is desperate to find a goal scorer other than Cole Palmer. It’s clear that they depend too much on the former Manchester City star.
