A prolific Serie A striker has expressed his desire for a “dream” transfer to Manchester United. Following the signings of Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund, another Italian-based forward hopes to join the Old Trafford club.

Nikola Krstovic, Lecce’s 24-year-old star, revealed his aspiration to play for Manchester United. Krstovic, who stands at 6’1″, joined Lecce from Dunajska Streda last summer.

“After a match against Torino, Mirko Vucinic advised me to think about my next move,” Krstovic said. He confessed that his dream is to play for Manchester United, while also expressing happiness with his current situation at Lecce.

Krstovic has an impressive record, making his competitive debut for Zeta at 16 years and 18 days old. He became the first Lecce player to score in his first three games, following a £3.3 million transfer.

The Montenegrin international has accumulated nine goals and two assists since joining Lecce. His goal-scoring prowess extends to the Montenegrin First League, Serbian SuperLiga, and Slovak Super Liga.

Manchester United’s recruitment of Zirkzee and Hojlund demonstrates their interest in talented Italian-based forwards. Krstovic’s declaration may put him on the radar for a potential future transfer.
