Kylian Mbappé will miss Real Madrid’s upcoming matches, representing a major setback for the team. He was especially excited about the derby against Atletico Madrid, a crucial game of the season.

Mbappé’s injury will keep him out for 21 days, reportedly due to the strain from intense play in a recent match, which might have been avoided with more effective rotation strategies. According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid will face Lille in the Champions League, where Mbappé would have played against his brother, Ethan Mbappé. This anticipated encounter adds to his disappointment about being unable to participate.

The team’s current focus is on ensuring Mbappé returns in top form, with expectations that he will be back after the October international break. His absence is particularly impactful for Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, especially with the missed opportunity to face his brother.

The newspaper also noted that Ancelotti does not intend to use Endrick as a replacement for Mbappé. Instead, he plans to bring Luka Modric into midfield, allowing Jude Bellingham to move forward in attack, a setup reminiscent of last season, especially since it has been confirmed that Mbappé will miss the match at Civitas Metropolitano Stadium.

Kylian Mbappé’s injury is a significant blow for Real Madrid, particularly with key games approaching, including the derby against Atletico Madrid and the Champions League clash with Lille, where he would have gone up against his brother. His 21-day absence due to strain underscores the need for improved squad rotation to prevent such scenarios.
