I’ve Received Word That He’s Not Leaving Yet But His Potential Replacement Is Landing From Germany For Meeting This Evening” Fabrizio Romano Recently Disclosed The Latest “Information” Regarding The Potential Sacking Of Ten Hag At Manchester United

There has been no indication from Manchester United of any plans to remove Erik ten Hag, whose role as manager at Old Trafford remains uncertain following a string of disappointing results.

Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the situation.

Erik ten Hag’s future as Manchester United manager remains in doubt after a challenging season, with Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reporting that no final decision has been reached yet.

Last season, Manchester United finished in the top four, securing Champions League qualification and winning the Carabao Cup. However, their current season has been lackluster, as they currently sit in eighth place in the Premier League, although they still have a chance to win the FA Cup.

It’s clear that Ten Hag’s team has regressed, and it wouldn’t be surprising if INEOS, the club’s ownership group, opted for a managerial change at the end of the season.

Fabrizio Romano’s latest update suggests that no decision has been made yet regarding Ten Hag’s future at Manchester United.

On his YouTube channel, Italian journalist Romano provided an update on Erik ten Hag’s status at Old Trafford, confirming that a decision is still pending regarding his future.

“Based on the latest information I have, there hasn’t been any action taken to dismiss Ten Hag before the season’s end. That’s the current situation as of today. In football, things can change quickly, but for now, there’s no movement,” Romano stated.

In recent months, it’s likely that the Dutch manager has been under evaluation. Unless there is a significant improvement in performance by the end of the season, Ten Hag may find himself concerned about his job security.

Realistically, if Manchester United fails to qualify for European competition and lose the FA Cup final against Manchester City, the former Ajax boss may have little justification to stay.

Without silverware or a strong Premier League finish, INEOS will be faced with a crucial decision.

According to a report by Matt Law from The Telegraph, United does not plan to dismiss Ten Hag before the FA Cup final.

However, some members of the squad have reportedly sensed that a change is on the horizon.

Waiting until the end of the season to part ways with Ten Hag would allow a new manager to benefit from a full pre-season and the summer transfer window, which could provide key advantages.

Manchester United is reportedly considering Thomas Tuchel as a potential managerial option.

United is reportedly looking at Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel as a possible candidate, given the increasing pressure on Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

The decision-makers at Manchester United hold Tuchel in high regard, and the German manager is said to be open to a Premier League return.

Despite his current contract with Bayern, it’s understood Tuchel could leave in the summer. While Bayern missed out on the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen, they remain in contention for the Champions League.
