Liverpool supporters will experience immense disappointment if the recent hamstring injury turns out to be severe.

Jurgen Klopp has cause for concern as he continues to stress his team’s title credentials, as Curtis Jones’ possible injury could impede Liverpool’s road to yet another noteworthy league triumph. Klopp is especially concerned about Salah’s injury sustained during the AFCON.

According to James Pearce of X (previously Twitter), Jones, a crucial starter, appeared to be experiencing hamstring issues and was apparently replaced in the second half. Although he missed a few games because of a three-game red card suspension and thigh problems, the Academy graduate is now a key member of Klopp’s starting lineup.

If the English youth international isn’t available, there are other choices. After recovering from an injury, Trent Alexander-Arnold might start at number six, and Alexis Mac Allister might move to the left of midfield. Ryan Gravenberch is another good choice; he has proven to be effective in that particular capacity when needed.

The 22-year-old has just cemented his spot on the squad, so a protracted absence would be disastrous for the team’s equilibrium. It is hoped that Jones’ injury is not too serious so as to provide the least amount of damage to the team’s momentum.
