Ballon d’Or 2024 : France Football drops an announcement a few days before the verdict
The winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or will be revealed on Monday, October 28, with France Football making significant efforts to ensure the ceremony runs smoothly.
According to multiple sources, including *Marca*, Brazilian star Vinicius Junior is expected to claim the prestigious award, largely due to his exceptional performances with Real Madrid, which played a key role in the club’s triumph in securing their 15th Champions League title. Nike, his sponsor, has reportedly already prepared special golden shoes in anticipation of this victory.
Although *Marca* does not fully explain the reasons for this early announcement, the official ceremony remains set for October 28 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
“What Vinicius Junior has accomplished and his significant impact on Real Madrid’s success last season have erased any doubts,” reports *Marca*. The competition—featuring teammates Jude Bellingham and Dani Carvajal, Kylian Mbappé, and Manchester City’s Rodri—seems to be trailing behind Vinicius, according to the newspaper.
