In fact, the former Manchester United has rejected the chance to become Denmark’s new manager, according to Danish magazine Tipsbladet.Back in July, Kasper Hjulmand stepped down as Denmark national team manager following their winless run at Euro 2024.The DBU have been on the lookout for a permanent manager ever since and according to Tipsbladet, they reached out to Solskjaer regarding the opportunity.But the Norwegian is currently in negotiations with a so-called ‘major’ club regarding a head coach role, therefore he did not want to enter into a job interview with Peter Møller and DBU.Last month, Solskjaer spoke to a crowd of around 3,000 people at Oslo Business Forum. Here, he was asked about a possible return to Manchester United.“If your family asks you, you say yes every day of the week,” he said, as quoted by Norwegian outlet VG. “It feels wrong to talk about jobs other people have. But I say yes.”One thing is for sure; the Norwegian is keen to get back in the hot seat.”I’ve got at least one club job in me.
