WATCH VIDEO :Manchester United fans lauded defender Lisandro Martinez for his barge on Richarlison during Sunday’s draw with Tottenham.
The Argentine made his Old Trafford comeback after a four-month absence, but Ange Postecoglou’s team held the Red Devils to a 2-2 draw.
Martinez quickly got to work as he entered the game to replace Jonny Evans just after the hour had passed.
Martinez violently pushed the Brazilian to the ground as Richarlison tried to chase an outswinging corner that appeared to be headed for Alejandro Garnacho on the edge of the box.
Martinez’s contribution delighted United supporters, who praised him enthusiastically on social media.
