REPORT:”They call him Italian Mbappe because of his massive speed and ability to dribble any defender”-Man Utd already in a move to submit £43.6million offer to sign Italian Electric playmaker who Erik ten Hag prefers as Sancho Replacement.
Manchester United have been linked with Federico Chiesa for some time, and the Italian international is once again in the spotlight. Last month, reports from Italy indicated that the Red Devils admire the Juventus playmaker, whose future in Turin is uncertain.
More recently, Spanish source Todo Fichajes reported that Chiesa may leave Juventus for the Premier League. The Azzurri star, valued at around £43.6 million, is seeking a new contract to match the salary of Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic.
It is reported that Manchester United and Arsenal are the most interested teams, and both could submit offers worth £43.6 million to sign Chiesa.
Erik ten Hag’s squad lacks quality and depth in attack, especially in the wide positions. Rashford was the top scorer last season but has only scored one goal in the Premier League this term. Meanwhile, big-money signing Antony has not scored a goal despite making nine league appearances.
Surprisingly, Jadon Sancho was the last winger to score at Old Trafford, and his relationship with the manager is currently strained. Chiesa can play on either flank, as a central attacking midfielder, and even as a center forward.
He won the European Championships with Italy in 2021 and was named the best attacker of the tournament. This season, the 26-year-old playmaker has started nine games in Serie A, contributing directly to five goals for Juve, who are two points behind leaders Inter Milan.
Should Manchester United bid £43.6 million to sign Federico Chiesa?
