Manchester United are seeking a left-back in the final days of the transfer window, with multiple targets on their radar.

Leonardo Spinazzola has recently emerged as a potential option for the Red Devils. Di Marzio reports that United have reached out to Roma to inquire about the player. While no negotiations have started, United want to stay informed about Spinazzola should they decide to pursue him before the transfer window closes.

The 30-year-old is being considered as a short-term solution due to Luke Shaw’s long-term muscle injury and Tyrell Malacia’s ongoing injury. United are evaluating several options to fill the left-back position.

Other targets include Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella, Tottenham’s Sergio Reguilon, and Barcelona’s Marcos Alonso. Recently, Nicolas Tagliafico has also been linked, with reports suggesting that United have made a loan offer to Olympique Lyon.

For his athleticism and physicality, making him a strong presence on the left flank despite being right-footed. His dribbling skills and attacking runs are significant assets, potentially exciting the Old Trafford faithful with his link-up play with Marcus Rashford.

While his defensive capabilities can be inconsistent, Spinazzola compensates with his offensive contributions, providing fluidity and enabling Rashford to move infield and focus on scoring goals.
