🚨⚽Liverpool player ‘returns from international break early’ as fans left fearful over potential injury

Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has withdrawn from England’s U21 squad and returned to the club, sparking concerns about a potential injury. Although England’s official statement did not specify any injury, it confirmed that Elliott had gone back to Liverpool for “further medical treatment.” This news has left Liverpool fans anxious, especially since the midfielder has had limited involvement in the opening matches under new manager Arne Slot, playing only a brief eight-minute cameo in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Brentford.

Along with Elliott, Ipswich’s Omari Hutchinson and Aston Villa’s Jaden Philogene were also sent back to their clubs for medical assessments. England’s U21s are currently preparing for fixtures against Northern Ireland and Austria under interim coach Ben Futcher, following the temporary promotion of Lee Carsley to manage the senior squad for Nations League fixtures.

Liverpool fans are now waiting for further updates on Elliott’s condition as the Premier League returns after the international break.
