Liverpool Tried To Lure Turkish Youngster Away From Turin With A $30 Million Bid, But It Was Swiftly Rejected
Liverpool has reportedly made a significant bid to sign Juventus striker Kenan Yildiz, despite an initial rejection.
The 18-year-old, valued at €40 million (£34.4M), drew interest from Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig, but all were told he’s not for sale.
Sporting director Jorg Schmadtke convinced Liverpool to bid, but it was swiftly rejected by Juventus, who firmly stated Yildiz is not available.
A summer transfer remаins a possibility if the right offer surfaces. However, Liverpool’s current priority is reinforcing defense and midfield.
