Sandro Tonali wants return to Italy, but Arsenal prepare to advance pursuit — reports
According to Ben Jacobs, Arsenal are ready to advance their pursuit of Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali.
However, they need to understand the player’s intentions first, starting with whether he is open to leaving Newcastle at all.
Even if that happens, the belief is that Tonali would prefer a return to Italy, with Juventus recently linked with the 25-year-old.
At the same time, there is no guarantee a Serie A side would be able to meet Newcastle’s demands, meaning that Arsenal could still have an advantage in the race.
